Why we made it
Children lean in when a story is about them. We wanted a new one on hand whenever it's needed: in the car, at the café, in a waiting room or at bedtime.
So each story is written fresh for one child, at their age, in their English, with the people, pets and toys they care about.
How a story is made
- You fill in the recipe: who it's for, what it's about, how long and how it's drawn.
- We write the story for their age group and check it against our content policy.
- We draw each character from a few angles, then illustrate every page and check the characters look right.
- On plans with narration, a warm voice reads it aloud, one highlighted sentence at a time.
Questions parents ask
- How is AI used in the stories?
- AI writes the story from your recipe, draws the pictures and reads it aloud. Each story is checked against our content policy, and each picture is checked so the characters look right, before it reaches you.
- Is my child's data safe?
- We keep what the story needs, and we don't sell children's personal information. Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how to delete it.
- Can I try it before paying?
- Yes. Your first story is free and needs no payment card. Paid plans come with a free trial if you're eligible. The pricing page has the details.
- Can we read offline?
- Yes, in the iPhone and Android apps. Save a story there and it opens with no signal. On the website, stories need a connection.
