Questions parents ask
- What does a story for a two-year-old look like?
- Short, with simple sentences, plenty of repetition and big clear pictures. Toddlers follow rhythm and familiar objects more than plot, so stories at this level use words a two-year-old already knows and stick to things they recognise, like animals, food and bedtime.
- My toddler will not sit still for a whole story. Is that normal?
- Entirely normal at this age. Choose the short length, 3-4 scenes, and reading only part of it is still fine. Letting them point at pictures, turn pages or repeat a line back to you all counts as reading together.
- How does the story get personalised?
- You enter your child's name, age group and a few interests, then pick a mood, a length and an illustration style. The story is written around those choices. You can also add custom characters from a photo or a written description, so a sibling, friend or pet can join in.
