The wizard offers ready-made ideas for this mood, such as a garden discovery, a star compass or a clocktower clue. The facts sit inside the plot, so your child follows a story rather than a lesson. Ask what they would try next as you read.

Questions parents ask
- What subjects do learning stories cover?
- Curiosity and small discoveries. The wizard suggests ideas such as a garden discovery, a star compass, a clocktower clue or an inventor's room, or you can add your own. The learning sits inside the plot, so your child follows a story instead of a lesson dressed up as one.
- Do learning stories replace schoolwork?
- No. They spark curiosity and support what your child meets at school. For structured reading practice, turn on phonics mode. It follows UK Letters and Sounds, US Common Core or the Australian Curriculum at phases 2 to 5, which is a much closer match to classroom work.
- How does the story get personalised?
- You enter your child's name, age group and a few interests, then pick a mood, a length and an illustration style. The story is written around those choices. You can also add custom characters from a photo or a written description, so a sibling, friend or pet can join in.
